Summer Enrichment Camp: Science & Art

Not just any standard summer camp: a complete enrichment program with learning that's FUN!

Ages 6-12     half days 8:30-12 or 12-3:30,  Full days 8:30-3:30 (BYO lunch)

Ages 4,5 Lil' Campers Program half days 2,  3 or 5 day per week options. 8:30-12 (BYO lunch  option if you want your child to eat before they leave)

Ages 6-12: Chemistry experiments with salts and solutions. Study of ocean creatures and their habitat. How does your boat float? Sharks! Ocean Creatures Art. Investigate how fish tails work.  Fish and shellfish biology.  Indoor and outdoor activities. Hula lessons, Hula hoops, Hawaiian Islands game. games (outdoors: weather permitting). Pirate lessons! . BYO snack and lunch.

Ages 4-5:  Shark and fish games and science, shell & turtle crafts, outdoor play time (bring hat and sunscreen) BYO snack  

Ages 6-10: Science of cooking and baking, food art, Chef lessons- make you own snack (yum!), Edible green slime, lemon VOLCANOES!  Pastry chef decorating, Restaurant games, be a waiter, Set a chic table and menu. BYO snack and lunch. rocket ship to another planet improv, Pantomime acting skills, Violin skit, Barber shop skit. Dog in a tree skit.

Ages 4-5 : Let's play Chef!., food science crafts, make your own snack chef lesson, outdoor games and play. BYO snack

Ages 6-10: Science of life & nature. How does your heart, circulatory system and lungs work? Sturdy bones and teeth. Creatures large and small biology. Art: painting techniques and, science of paint ,color, viscosity and pigment density. BUGS, spiders, dragonflies, and frogs. Afternoon theater scene: Jungle explorer vs. poison darts. Nature examination for healthy plants and the environment. Rocks and gems. BYO snack and lunch. 

Ages 4-5: Nature & Bugs!  Let's explore bugs, Bug art painting, Songs and Dancing, outdoor play, BYO snack 

Ages 6-12: Science and physics of motion, race cars, rockets, planes and Newton's laws of motion. Acting: stunt man acting, bad guy chase scenes, rocket ship to another planet improv.  Physics meets art: Spin art, spray painting outer space. BYO snack and lunch. Physics of games and sports. " 3,2,1 launch"....building a catapult game! 

Ages 4-5: Things that go FAST! Games, and outdoor races, cars n trucks, race car painting,  BYO snack.

Ages 6-12 Full day camp $355/ week 8:30-3:30  w/ June discount: $296 /week

                  Half day camp $200/ week 8:30-12   w/ June discount: $169/week

Extended day: pick up by 5pm add $75/week.  w/ June discount $56/wk

Ages 4-5  ANY 3 mornings 8:30-12 $140/ week w/ June discount only $128/week

 all  5 mornings per week $190/week  w/ June discount only $169/ week

 2 days per week $100 w/ June discount only $90/ week

 (10% discount for additional children in one family, or additional weeks of camp)

Weekly Fee includes all materials for labs, STEM projects, and art projects, organized games, STEM lessons, and outdoor activities.  Lunch and snack are BYO. Smiles, laughter, and lifetime memories included at no additional charge !!  :) 

Happily Ever After Summer Science camp's program is designed by Mrs. Kathy Lavanga, holding a dual degree in Chemistry and biochemistry and former materials engineer. Mrs. Lavanga has been a preschool and middle school teacher and enrichment director for 18 years, and holds certification in CPR, Background clearances, training in Epi Pens, seizures and allergy first aide. 

All campers must fill out registration paperwork including health and safety information.  Refunds available for cancellation up to 7 days prior to camp, minus an administrative fee of $40
